Frequently Asked Questions:
What is your cancellation policy?
Appointment Cancellation Policy: If you need to reschedule with less than 48 hour notice and are unable to find a friend/family member to fit your time slot, you will be charged half of your service amount. For no-shows or late cancellations less than 24 hours notice, the full cost of the service will be charged. Please know I understand life happens and sometimes we are unable to make it to our appointments. Cancellation policies are not a punishment of any kind and are simply to protect your service providers livelihood, so they are compensated for the allotted time slot scheduled. Exceptions if a previously established sliding scale client cannot afford to pay for a missed service, as well as pay for the rebooked service, I would rather they are able to enjoy their service. As long as it is not a habit of missing appointments, I am flexible for sliding scale clients. Booking any service means you respect this standard policy. Thank you!
Do I need to wear a mask to my appointment and what are your Covid precautions? Yes, I will be continuing requiring masks in all my services. I am vaccinated and always wear a KN95 mask with filtration system going, as well as thorough disinfection between clients. Make sure your mask fits well and is secure around nose. {I will supply you one if needed} Please wash your hands upon entry & do not invite anyone to your appointment, only two people in the service room at a time. Please let me know ASAP if you are sick or have been in contact with anyone sick to reschedule your appointment. Thank you and I look forward to taking care of you!
How about parking? Free street parking is available on California ave or SW Juneau St.
Hi, I do not live in West Seattle. Do you have any suggestions on what else to do while I am in the neighborhood? Beautiful question and thank you so much for visiting me in WS! Well of course scheduling time to visit Good Sister (that my service room is located inside) Ennjoili the owner is a great resource to chat with about local restaurants and favorites (please check GS updated hours). Our good friends over at Opal Nail Studio offer natural nails and fantastic nail art. (not only that, they pay their staff a fair & living wage and prioritize elevating the sanitization & labor standards in the nail salon industry!) & If the weather permits my favorite place is heading to Lincoln Park for recharging by the water and amongst the trees.
How does sliding scale work for energy medicine? Everyone deserves access to healing resources. If you are a human in financial need and you feel drawn to work with me then I will ask that you pay at least 50% of the standard $95 fee for Energy Work sessions. How much more you pay beyond that level, I leave up to you and your knowledge of your financial circumstances + relative privilege. Acupuncturist Chiara Galimberti has a very useful set of infographics to help you assess yourself in terms of accessing sliding scale.
Do you offer sliding scale for any of your other services? Unfortunately I am unable financially to offer sliding scale for other services at this time. Although, please reach out with your interest as I am hoping to have them available in the future.
